There, they find themselves participants in the P-1 Grand Prix, forced to fight their own friends…! Fortunately, the Shadow Operatives, consisting of Mitsuru, Akihiko, and Aigis, are also on the case and join the battle. The protagonist and what’s left of the team delve back into the TV world to solve the case. A new program, a fighting tournament called the P-1 Grand Prix, begins to air on the Midnight Channel, and members of the Investigation Team start to disappear one by one. The game originally started off in the arcades in 2013, before a PS3 and Xbox 360 release a year later. Basically, it’s an excuse to get loads of Persona 4 and Persona 3 characters together for a big ol’ throwdown. It features the cast fighting a mysterious army of Shadows in something called the P-1 Climax.
The beat-em-up is a follow-up to Persona 4 Arena, which itself was a sequel to Persona 4 Golden. It is a fighting game that everyone, not just fans of the saga can enjoy. The story drives itself with the character talking at you, but it shines for its deep gameplay. 2D fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will get a new lease of life this March, when the spin-off arrives on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is a simply beautiful fighting game, with an amazing variety of characters.
